About Us

Established in 1829 Weaver Brothers Ltd is the longest running independent funeral directors on the Isle of Wight and is proud to serve the local community for nearly 200 years.  It is now run by seventh generation, brother and sister team, Richard and Caroline Weaver.  Weaver Brothers is firmly rooted in the traditions of the funeral industry, but also has moved with the times and believe we are the perfect blend of traditional and modern.  Whilst respecting the previous generations of our family values we are able to draw on our years of experience to support all our families.  We are on hand 24 hours a day 7 days of the week to give families a personal, professional and caring service. With offices in both Bembridge and East Cowes we are pleased to offer an Islandwide service

Testimonial

We wanted to thank you for all that you did for my father and very especially for the two services yesterday. It was very much appreciated by the immediate family, but above all by the two of us.

Everything ran perfectly, as we knew it would, but what I really thank you for is the careful and considerate way in which you helped us on every detail, including working so closely with the vicar. Quite simply, you took much of the stress away from us.

We are proud to be members of SAIF, The National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors (SAIF) which is a trade association whose members are all independent funeral directors. Independent funeral directors are known for their high standard of service and a caring, traditional approach to their local communities, 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. By choosing a SAIF member when the need arises, you are assured of a trusted and caring professional who is dedicated to serving the needs of the community. SAIF Members must adhere to a strict Code of Practice.
