Richard Weaver
Like generations of the Weaver family before him, Richard was born and raised on the Isle of Wight. Following in the footsteps of his forefathers, Richard, after his graduation, joined Weaver Brothers where he worked with his father, Terry until his retirement. For more than twenty years, Richard, has personally arranged, overseen and conducted funerals. Offering families reassurance that everything is in hand, he is able to draw on his considerable experience helping guide and support families at a difficult time, even with the most complex and sensitive of arrangements.
Caroline Weaver
After graduating with a degree in English, Caroline worked in London in Public Relations. During her career in Public Relations, one of her areas of expertise was organising high profile events for clients which has proved invaluable for considering every last detail of funeral arrangements. She joined her brother Richard in 2012 and has since undertaken and conducted many funerals.
Together, Richard and Caroline ensure the Weaver family continue to serve and look after families in their local community.
Scott Goddard
Scott Goddard joined us in 2017 and brought with him a wealth of experience. Scott first began undertaking in the 90’s when he joined the esteemed Chelsea based directors, Kenyon’s, who at the time held the Royal appointment as funeral directors to the Windsor family. Shortly afterwards he was given his own branch to run and was quickly established in to the community as the first call for funeral arrangements, more than doubling the number of families he helped in the first 18 months. The draw of the Isle of Wight beckoned and after years of family holidays here the move was a natural one. We feel fortunate to have found Scott and we enjoy the very best of relationships, founded on mutual respect and the reassurance that by allowing him to run the East Cowes branch on our behalf, it is like having a member of our own family representing us in the community.
Jacqui McDade
Jacqui joined our team in the role of Office Manager from her role in the Bembridge Parish Office which she held for many years. Jacqui brings with her a wealth of experience and local knowledge. She is a friendly face for all our families and runs our office like clockwork with her attention to detail and organisation skills. We are incredibly blessed to have Jacqui looking after and supporting the team here at Weaver Brothers.
Denny Seymour
Denny grew up in Bembridge and has lived all his life in the village. He is engrained in village life and served the local community on the RNLI Bembridge for 33 years. Denny attended The Funeral Academy, (formerly Green Fuse), and qualified from the prestigious ‘Care of the Body and Mortuary Management’ course. For Denny nothing is ever too much trouble and seeing the comfort families experience when paying their last respects to their loved ones is immeasurable. We are lucky to have him as part of our close knit hard working team.
